Default Google SERP Update?

Some have reported that their rankings have dramatically increased recently in Google. Let me tell you if you are one of these webmasters - do not rejoice so fast! Now for some of you who worked hard on getting links the right way with great content will probably be okay. But those of you with "cheap" links with thin content, don't expect your rankings to last.

How do I know? I have one site which at one point had some thin content with "crappy" links. For the past several years, these pages with thin content would jump in rankings when people form DP or WMW are reporting SERP changes. But you know what typically happens - especially right before Thanksgiving and certainly before Christmas? These rankings fade fast. I can guarantee that like Obama's promise of "change".

So go forth and continue to build content and market your sites for the long run.

site cannot have stable rank, it is very important that you continue to build links in order to maintain site rank.

Google's main priority continues to be, providing users with fast, relevant and quality content in their search engine results pages, You most likely read about the March 'farmer' algorithm update which initially went live in the USA only, receiving mostly positive reviews from users and publishers. Earlier this month, the search giant released the 'farmer' algorithm update globally, to all English-language Google users.

Yes, this is something that we were talking about in our office yesterday. We happen to see rise in few key words and fall in few keywords as well. It was very weird and we show that they fell off very quickly within few days. This is surely something that we felt was beyond your control.
It also is like, you work hard for some keywords and you feel that they have fallen/went high for no damn reason. But now we know what has been happening and so we are well prepared to face our clients
