How to Add a Counter to Blogger

Here is a step-by-by guide on how to add a Branica Counter to blogger. I'll focus on the new interface for now.

(1) Log into Blogger and got to edit your template. Within blogger, your page can be arranged pretty easily using page elements.

(2) Click on Page Elements


(3) Add a Page Element which will be used to add a counter to your blog.

(4) There are a bunch of page elements that you can add. To add a counter, you'll need to select "HTML/Javascript".




(5) The following blank form will come up.




(6) Goto Branica and copy and paste the counter code.




(7) Now go back to Blogger add a title

(8) Paste in the Branica code.



(9) Hit "Save Changes"

(10) You will see a new page element that has the title that you gave above.



(11) The cool thing about elements is that you don't have to worry about coding for placement now. You can drag and drop the element pretty much anywhere on the page. For example, drag it to the bottom of the left column.
