Well I thought this was a good service and in some ways it is in terms of its basic service of providing news on the earnings for publicly traded companies. I even tried out their premium service - I did some option trading based on it with very little success. Honestly, it was a bad trending market so I don't blame their services.
Then, I get this email from them promoting: "First Hour Trading".
Quote:
Dear Earnings Whispers subscriber,
Sometimes you just plain luck out...
Manny Backus is a friend of mine. I'm lucky
to know him because he is a genius day trader.

Yikes

! Now I have lost totaly respect for their services since just some simple Google searches on the service will highlight that it is basically a scam. <sigh>

Why do companies send out these emails to their subscribers? I personally have lost trust in Earnings Whispers now.
