Camping - KOA

Well my wife and I decided to take the kids camping at a KOA camping facility. Let me put it this way with a question: Why do people camp? Honestly, I would love to hear your comments on this one. I mean it is not all that bad and perhaps rain did not help our overall experience.

Let me see we needed to:

• Cook Our Own Food (unless we bought it). Thank goodness for canned foods and instant noodles. The wife did make some awesome dishes like pita pizza - Dinner Impossible should have my wife on the show.
• Walk to Clean Our Dishes
• Walk to Take a Shower
• Walk to Pee and S!@t
• Set up Our Own Tent
• Break Down Our Own Tent
• Clean Up

And we paid for the privilege daily. Well at the least the kids had fun and the KOA facility was nice and clean. So again why go camping? I don't plan on it for a couple of years at a minimum!

Haha, good point. I believe the idea is to get back to nature. Maybe it helps people realize how lucky they are to have all the amenities they do.
