If you don't know already, you could be making some extra cash with your bog!
Just sign up for adsense from Google at this link. Create the style of ad that you want, paste some code into your template and that's it. Now you will probably not get rich from it but it can certaintly some extra $$ is nice. Have any questions, ask them here and we can help out since we have been using adsense extensively on some of our sites with a lot of success.

It is important to place your adsense up the top of your blog just under your header. I have found that using the 728x90 Billboard works the best for traffic to click conversion rate. Use contrasting colors in the banner, these can be set in your "ad settings" part of your account.
I personally only know how to use wordpress and blogspot.com Changed this post to two different topics so they are easy to find. cheers Paul V |

I would also say that when setting up your ads its best to tailor them to the theme of your blog/website as this is what will make them blend in and make them more click able.
Placing the ads under the navigational links or under each blog post is the best placement in my opinion. But as with anything do some trial and error.
